Journalists covering business, politics and economics can apply for this new award.
Brazil's Institute for Reform of Relations between State and Company (IREE, in Portuguese) has launched the IREE Journalism Award, which seeks to recognize the best coverage of Brazilian national affairs.
The award will be given in three categories: grand prize, politics, and economy and business.
Works must have been published between Nov. 15, 2019 and Nov. 15, 2020.
The winner of grand prize will receive BRL50,000; the other two categories will award BRL30,000.
The deadline is Nov. 15.
