Journalists living in Mexico can submit their work to a contest.
The Walter Reuter Journalism Prize honors journalists who publish their work in the Mexican media. This year's competition theme is "Inequality, violence and poverty in times of coronavirus."
Works must have been published or broadcast between Jan. 1, 2020 and Jan. 31, 2021.
The first place winner will receive a trip to Germany and MXN20,000 (US$946), plus a 10-week German course. The second and third place winners will receive MXN10,000 (US$473) and MXN5,000 (US$236), respectively.
The deadline is Jan 31, 2021.
