Journalists and communicators based in Uruguay can participate in this competition.
The Sistema Nacional de Respuesta al Cambio Climático (SNRCC) and the Red de Comunicación en Cambio Climático (LatinClima) are hosting the journalistic story contest on climate change.
Interested parties are encouraged to submit written stories that incorporate different digital formats such as infographics, videos and photographs. Coverage of climate change adaptation in Uruguay's cities and coasts; human rights and climate change; environmental education; and the country's commitments under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change are eligible.
The winner will receive US$500.
The call for entries will remain open until March 1.
