Competition for French media innovation [Francophone countries]

All media (radio, television, print and new media) from the 88 member states and governments of the Francophonie that have developed innovative offerings that take into account new modes of consumption and access to information can compete.

The International Organization of Francophonie (OIF), Radio France Internationale (RFI) and Reporters Without Borders (RSF) are jointly launching the call for entries for the sixth edition of the "Francophone Media Innovation Award," which aims to encourage a rapidly evolving sector, to strengthen press freedom and the right to information in the French language.

The winners will receive an award of EUR15,000 (first prize), EUR10,000 (second prize) and EUR5,000 (third prize). The prizes will be awarded in November.

The deadline is Aug. 31.
