Journalists with at least five years of professional experience residing in Peru can enter this competition.
USAID's Prevenir Project launches the second edition of the "Investigative Journalism and Environmental Crimes in the Peruvian Amazon" contest, which will finance investigations that contribute to highlighting the impacts of environmental crimes and the serious reality of environmental activists, particularly in the regions of Loreto, Ucayali and Madre de Dios.
Projects about environmental crimes in the post-pandemic era and environmental crimes and environmental defenders are eligible to apply.
Up to 10 projects will receive funding, with amounts ranging from PEN10,000 to PEN50,000.
The deadline is July 4.
