The National Federation of Journalists (FENAJ) and online school De Olho na Rede are offering the online course "2024 Elections: Combating disinformation with journalism."
The course will prepare journalists for the 2024 local elections in Brazil by addressing topics such as media literacy and infodemic, tools for combating disinformation, legislation for the 2024 elections, AI usage in elections, and case studies from Brazil, Portugal and the U.S.
Classes will be live and online, July 6 and July 13.
The registration fee is BRL60 for unionized journalists and journalism students, and BRL80 for non-unionized journalists and the general public.
