Christian Science Monitor seeks reporter [Africa]

Experienced journalists based in Africa with knowledge of a second relevant language can apply.

The Christian Science Monitor is looking for a reporter to work as a part-time correspondent in Africa.

Responsibilities include covering national political developments, explaining continental diplomatic trends and writing enterprise features on social and cultural issues. The correspondent will work closely with the Africa Editor in Boston to produce regular news analysis and feature stories.

Candidates must be skilled writers, preferably with experience writing for an international audience. They must be from the region or have lived there for a significant length of time.
