Multimedia journalists based in China and Southeast Asia can submit story ideas to explore climate change and Chinese investment in the region.
The China Global South Project (CGSP) is seeking story ideas from journalists, writers, content creators or practitioners on climate change issues in relation to China’s development in Southeast Asia, particularly the social and environmental consequences of these developments and the voices of those impacted.
Topics include infrastructure and energy projects; resource extraction and land use; pollution and waste management; and climate change and adaptation. Proposed content can be in the forms of feature stories, reports, opinion articles, photo essays, or multimedia content.
Women, young people, and indigenous groups are particularly welcome to contribute.
