Call for submissions of books on disinformation [Latin America]

Posted on Jul 5, 2023 in Information Integrity

Authors and researchers affiliated with centers associated with the Latin American Council of Social Sciences (CLACSO) are eligible.

CLACSO, in collaboration with the National University of Quilmes (UNQ, Argentina), is calling for essays by a single author on the challenges facing communications, politics and rights in the digital era. This initiative aims to develop a collection of books that reflect on disinformation and democracy.

Interested applicants should submit an editorial proposal that includes an introduction, the primary research questions, the objectives, the theoretical and methodological framework, the working hypotheses and a provisional table of contents.

The selected projects will have 120 days from the date of publication of the results to deliver the finished books.

The deadline is Aug. 9.
