RTBF iXPé is launching a call for projects for a native podcast focusing on the burnout experienced by content creators on social networks. The aim of this initiative is to shed light on the often unacknowledged pressures faced by content creators in the realm of social media.
This podcast will explore why many creators have taken breaks or completely stopped creating content to safeguard their mental health. For instance, on platforms like YouTube, intense competition, the demanding pace of video releases, and the need for larger, more resource-intensive productions are pushing experienced videographers to their limits.
Three projects will be shortlisted, with a maximum budget of EUR3,000 allocated for developing a pilot episode. The selected project will then receive funding of up to EUR30,000 to produce the entire podcast series.
The deadline for submissions is June 26.
