Call for investigative journalism papers [Brazil]

Posted on Mar 6, 2025 in Investigative Journalism

Academics and college students with papers on investigative journalism can submit their work.

The Brazilian Association for Investigative Journalism (Abraji) is seeking investigative journalism papers to be presented and discussed during its research seminar this summer.

The seminar will be part of Abraji's 2024 Investigative Journalism Conference, which will take place in São Paulo, July 10-13.

For the first time, Abraji is also seeking investigative stories produced by journalism students, as an effort to encourage investigative reporting among future journalists.

The authors of papers and stories selected will present their work at the conference, with travel and accommodation expenses paid by Abraji.

Submission deadline is March 31 for students (for both papers and stories) and April 30 for academics.
