Latin American journalists, ages 18-35, with a proven interest in environmental issues and at least one year of professional experience, may apply for this opportunity.

Climate Tracker, in partnership with FES, is launching a program to cover the 28th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28), which will take place Nov. 30 to Dec. 12 in Dubai.

Two journalists will be selected to cover the event in person on an all-expenses-paid basis, and two other journalists will cover the event remotely and receive a stipend of EUR 300 (US$326). The four professionals will receive one month of training and individual mentoring. They all commit to publish three stories.

The deadline is July 30.
