Experienced Arab directors can submit their films to receive support.
The Cairo Film Connection is accepting submissions for its ninth edition, as part of the 44th Cairo International Film Festival (CIFF), which is scheduled to take place Nov. 13 to 22.
As the festival’s co-production market, the Cairo Film Connection supports upcoming filmmaking talents and helps them receive regional and international recognition.
Applicants can submit a work of feature-length fiction or non-fiction in development or post-production phase.
Projects must be directed by filmmakers of Arab nationality or origin. The director of the project must have previously directed a minimum of one film.
The application deadline is Aug. 20.
