Early-career Black journalists based in the United Kingdom can apply for a 12-month fellowship.

The Bureau of Investigative Journalism (TBIJ) is accepting applications for its Bruce Page Fellowship. The program was created in honor of the late Sunday Times investigative reporter and New Statesman editor Bruce Page.

Fellows will gain experience in identifying and pitching ideas, developing and protecting sources, producing community-engaged journalism, fact-checking stories, and structuring and writing articles. They will also gain knowledge in financial reporting, open-source intelligence and data analysis.

Areas of reporting include the environment, big tech, global health, and more.

Selected fellows will receive a salary of GBP27,000.

The deadline is July 27.
