Black male college students in the United States who are interested in journalism can apply for a workshop.

The New York University Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute, in partnership with the Dow Jones News Fund, will launch the Black Male Journalism Workshop this summer. The workshop seeks to identify and rectify the under-representation of African American males in newsrooms across the U.S.

Twenty students will be selected for the one-week training program at New York University, June 2 to 8.

Program instruction, housing, meals and transportation to attend the workshop will be provided for participating students.

The deadline is Feb. 15.
