BBC seeks shoot edit [Lebanon]

Experienced videographers who are fluent in English and Arabic can apply for this position in Lebanon.

The BBC is looking for a shoot edit to join its news team in Beirut and provide specialist support for shoot-edit and camera work.

Responsibilities include providing the best visual material, selecting locations for better filming, and assisting the correspondent in planning and implementing the use of resources. Other day-to-day duties involve developing scripts and occasionally writing material.

Applicants must have good experience in filming, editing and packaging content for TV and radio (including editing on Final Cut). They should also be familiar with filming with different cameras including Sony FS5 and A7, Go Pro and if needed Drone.

Extensive relevant filming experience, including hostile environments, is essential and a willingness to be deployed at short notice in the country (Lebanon), across the region or to join news deployments overseas.
