Media professionals from Asia Pacific with a track record in addressing climate change can apply for the yearlong leadership program.
The annual Asia Foundation Development Fellows Program is seeking applications from emerging leaders whose work addresses climate change. The yearlong leadership program includes in-person modules and year-round support through mentorship, coaching and a flexible grant.
Selected fellows will take part in a 12-day Leadership Training Program and study tour in Nepal in February 2025. They will each receive a professional development award of US$5,000, and be matched with mentors tailored to their background and professional interests and can access a fixed number of one-on-one executive coaching sessions.
The program will conclude with visits to San Francisco and Washington, D.C., for a two-week Leadership Dialogue and Exchange program.
Interested applicants can come from a variety of professional backgrounds, including climate storytelling and journalism, as long as their work intersects with climate action.
Apply by July 29.
