Journalists, activists and students can apply for this yearlong fellowship.
The Counter Academy for Arab Journalism is accepting applications for its journalism program managed by Febrayer, a network of independent Arab media organizations including 7iber, Mada Masr, Al Jumhuriya, Sowt, Ma3azef and Megaphone.
The program features courses and lectures in anthropology, history, feminist studies, creative nonfiction, aural and visual cultures, art critique and political theory, in addition to rigorous reporting courses.
Fellows will participate in a bootcamp, then in online educational meetings with media instructors. The fellowship concludes with a two-month training in a media organization.
The deadline is July 15.
