Journalists from Brazil can compete for an award.
The Paraná Association of Planted Forest-Based Companies (APRE Florestas) is launching the third edition of the APRE Forest Journalism Award, an initiative that recognizes and encourages excellence in journalistic coverage of the forestry sector.
With the theme “Planted Forests and Technology,” the 2025 edition highlights innovation and technological advances applied to one of the most relevant activities for the state’s economy and sustainability.

Entries will be accepted for stories published or aired between November 1, 2024, and October 20, 2025. Eligible reports may explore topics such as bioeconomy, innovation, sustainability, job and income generation, engineered wood architecture, production chains, among others.
