Al Jazeera Documentary (AJD) is seeking applications to participate in the fourth edition of Al Jazeera Documentary Industry Days that will take place Sept. 13 to 15 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Filmmakers from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, Southeast Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia can submit a unique documentary project idea that is in need of additional financial support.
The categories include projects in the development and production stages, projects in the post-production stage and Balkan Stars projects.
Industry Days offer an engaging program of pitching sessions, panel discussions, one-on-one meetings, hands-on workshops and networking activities.
The filmmakers will have an opportunity to network with decision-makers and leading professionals from both regional and international documentary film and TV industries, with the potential to secure funding and receive support for global broadcasting, distribution, screenings and sales.
The deadline for applications is May 31.
