Latino journalism graduates in the U.S. and Puerto Rico can apply for a yearlong fellowship in Philadelphia, PA.
The AL DÍA Foundation is accepting applications for the Félix Varela Fellowship. The program empowers Latino journalists to tell their own stories.
Selected fellows will receive comprehensive training and experience in AL DÍA News Media, and gain the skills and confidence to perform in almost any responsibility of a news media operation.
The fellowship begins in the summer and fellows will be compensated for the entire year.
Candidates must be recent graduates with a bachelor's in journalism, media, communications or business, and have knowledge of the Hispanic history and culture in the U.S. Strong preference will be given to Spanish-English bilingual candidates.
The deadline is April 3.
