Africa Women Journalism Project seeks research assistants [Burkina Faso, Senegal, Togo]

Researchers in Burkina Faso, Senegal and Togo can apply for a remote position.

The Africa Women Journalism Project (AWJP) is hiring three research assistants to work on the Reporting Fellowship for Women Journalists in Francophone Africa project. The AWJP is supported by the International Center for Journalists (ICFJ).

The research assistants will support the project’s head researcher in developing and deploying a research study that aims to advance more women’s representation in newsrooms and increase reportage on gender and underreported issues in Burkina Faso, Senegal and Togo. 

Applicants must be fluent in English and French, and have at least three years of experience working as a data analyst or in research.

The deadline is Dec. 8.
