Posted on May 25, 2019 in Collaborative Journalism

Broadcasters and TV journalists from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine can apply for this program.

The ADAMI Media Prize for Cultural Diversity in Eastern Europe is launching the ADAMI TANDEM program, which provides journalists from Eastern Partnership countries the opportunity to build connections with Western European broadcasting companies and to jointly produce news pieces with colleagues from the European Union.

Candidates must submit proposals for short news stories (up to 4 minutes long) on cultural diversity topics.

Selected journalists will be teamed with journalists from EU broadcast organizations to form "tandems." Each "tandem" will produce a short news piece to broadcast on channels in both Eastern and Western Europe.

Participating organizations from Western Europe include TV stations ZDF and SWR from Germany, the French-German cultural channel ARTE and Deutsche Welle.

The deadline is June 24.
