Experienced AAPI journalists, planning to apply for executive and entrepreneurial programs, can apply for this fellowship program.
The Asian American Journalists Association (AAJA) is launching the new Simon and June Li Leadership Transformation Fellowship, which supports outstanding Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) journalists to accelerate their media leadership and entrepreneurial journeys. It serves to eliminate the cost barrier and increase accessibility to leading journalism executive and entrepreneurial programs for these journalists.
The fellowship will target the most promising AAPI journalism leaders and facilitate high-level training that equips and empowers Fellows with the vision to transform newsrooms and journalism.
In the inaugural year, two fellowships will be awarded, contingent on acceptance to the applicant’s program.
Applications are accepted on a rolling deadline.
