Journalists based in the United States can apply for an all-expenses paid fellowship in Detroit, Michigan.
The National Press Foundation (NPF) is offering the 2024 Elections Journalism Fellowship. This three-day training, July 28 to 30, will be a deep dive on covering elections themselves, not horse-race politics.
Expert speakers and instructors will help prepare journalists for one of the most taxing election cycles in history, providing lessons learned from key battlegrounds, such as Michigan. Topics include election infrastructure, election safety and security, voting rights and more.
NPF will cover airfare, hotel and meals for selected participants.
The deadline is May 27.
