Ruth Kutemba is a fact-checking journalist based in the Democratic Republic of Congo, freelancing for Congo Check. She is a member of WanaData, a pan-African network of women data journalists headquartered in Senegal, and also contributes as a blogger for Habari DRC. In addition to her fact-checking expertise, Ruth is actively involved in the audiovisual and online media sectors. She presents news and magazine programs and produces mini-documentaries. Her passion lies in addressing women’s issues and combating the spread of fake news through her work.
