Maurício is a Brazilian journalist who created the political newsletter Correio Sabiá to combat fake news on WhatsApp and covered the Presidency in Brasília as a reporter. He was a 2020 fellow at ICFJ's program "A Digital Path to Entrepreneurship and Innovation for Latin America" in partnership with the U.S. Department of State.
