Investigative journalists, both professional and nonprofessional, can apply for this program.
Justice for Journalists is offering grants for investigations into crimes against journalists, freelancers and bloggers.
The program is accepting proposals for stories that do not require any foreign travel. The maximum grant is US$50,000.
Applications must include a detailed budget for the investigative project and a 500-words long project description, highlighting what is new and significant about the story and what its potential impact might be.
The deadline is March 14.
