Journalists from Venezuela, Colombia and Brazil can apply for this fellowship.
The Dart Center for Journalism and Trauma, a project of the Columbia Journalism School in New York, is launching a project-based virtual fellowship focusing on illuminating the effects of the coronavirus pandemic on young children’s growth, development and wellbeing.
Applicants must submit a journalism project on young children and/or caregivers that can be completed and scheduled for publication or broadcast by Aug. 15.
Each fellow will receive US$1,500 to use towards their project. Additionally, they will be assigned a mentor and will attend monthly webinars with experts in the fields of science, education, public health and journalism.
The deadline is Feb. 9.
