GIJN hosts webinar series on investigative techniques [Worldwide]

The Global Investigative Journalism Network (GIJN) is organizing the Online Investigative Techniques — GIJN Webinars and Workshops with data journalist Henk van Ess.

Webinars are open to all. The next webinar is "Investigating social media" at 9 a.m. EST on Dec. 15, with French, Arabic and Russian interpretation.

Workshops are by application only and will last five hours. The workshop "Visual search, geolocation and verification" will take place at 8 a.m. EST on Jan. 11, 2021, followed by "Investigating social media" on Jan. 26, 2021.

The deadline to apply for the workshops is Dec. 16.
