Richard S. Holden Diversity Fellowship launched [US]

Editors from diverse backgrounds and underrepresented communities are invited to apply for this fellowship.

ACES: The Society for Editing and the Dow Jones News Fund have established the Richard S. Holden Diversity Fellowship.

The fellowship aims to enable journalists to receive the training and support they need for a faster track to success. Initially, three fellows will each receive up to US$3,000 to cover  travel, course tuition, conference fees or other costs related to career development and skill building. 

Applicants must have at least five years of professional experience in editing and be an ACES member in good standing. ACES membership costs US$70.

The deadline is Sept. 15.
