Investigative journalists can compete in this contest.
The Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom and the Association of Independent Press of Moldova are organizing the national competition "Journalism Investigates – 2020."
The contest seeks investigations produced by journalists or teams of journalists from the Republic of Moldova – independently or in partnership with colleagues from other countries – and published between Oct. 16, 2019, and Oct. 15, 2020, in Romanian or Russian.
The contest has two categories: national and local/regional media.
The winners will have an opportunity to apply for funding of EUR500 to EUR 1,000 for their future projects.
The deadline is Oct. 15.
