Students who focus on education journalism can compete for cash prizes.
Brazil's Association of Education Journalists (JEDUCA, in Portuguese) is organizing an education journalism competition.
The student category will award three term papers on education reporting with BRL3,000 (first place), BRL2,000 (second place) and BRL1,000 (third place). Works in audio, video or book format are also accepted.
Works covering the most pressuring issues in Brazil's public education system are encouraged.
Students must have completed their papers in 2022, 2023 or 2024.
The deadline is Jan. 31, 2025.
