Posted on Aug 29, 2019 في Digital Journalism

Journalists ages 18 to 35 residing in Latin America can enter this contest.

Native digital outlets La Mirilla, Relatos en Mochila and Escritura Crónica organize a narrative journalism contest to discover new writing talents in Spanish and stimulate quality journalism that uses inclusive and innovative language.

Entries must be nonfiction journalism features. Topics may cover travel, gender issues, the environment, social issues and first-person accounts.

There will be a first prize and five mentions, which will be announced at Nativa 2019. The author of the winning piece will receive literary journalism books, courtesy of the Penguin Random House group. In addition, the best 10 texts will be published in an e-book with a Creative Commons license.

The deadline is Sept. 20.
