Spanish-speaking journalists with or without experience in data journalism can register for this online workshop in Spanish.
The Center for Digital Journalism (CFPD) at the University of Guadalajara will offer a data journalism course Sept. 5 to Oct. 30.
Participants will learn how to extract data, clean it, put it into context, combine it, verify it and make it work inside a story and investigation. The workshop will also address the basics of data visualization.
The instructor is Hassel Fallas.
The cost is MXN3,800 for Mexicans and US$190 for those living outside Mexico.
The deadline to register is Aug. 28.
