Workshop focuses on food industry investigations [Brazil]

Journalists and journalist students interested in covering the food industry can participate in this training.

ACT Promoção da Saúde, in partnership with the Brazilian Association of Investigative Journalism (Abraji) and others, organizes a daylong training program May 7 in Brasíia.

The training will cover ways to investigate and report on the ultraprocessed food industry and its relationship to public health and public health policy.

Participants will have the change to apply for a BRL6,000 grant to produce a story after the workshop. The deadline to apply for a reporting grant is May 14.

The registration deadline is April 30. The cost is BRL50 for professionals and BRL20 for students.
