The Thomson Reuters Foundation is offering a reporting workshop on human trafficking and modern-day slavery Nov. 2 to 6 via Zoom.
The workshop will offer a combination of expertise and hands-on training, with an emphasis on producing high-impact stories for widespread dissemination. Participants will learn about efforts to set global standards for combating modern slavery, including fundamental conventions, international instruments and more.
Applicants must be Brazilian full-time journalists or regular contributors to broadcast media organizations in Brazil.
There is a small financial support for participants who can't afford a good internet connection.
The deadline is Oct. 5.
