Journalists living in Latin America, Spain and the US who covered health issues in 2022 and 2023 are invited to compete.
Roche Labs Latin America and the Fundación Gabo call for a new edition of the Roche Health Journalism Award.
Participants can compete in the categories of digital journalism, audio journalism, and coverage, with works in Spanish or Portuguese.
Entries must focus on one or more of the following topics: challenges facing health care; prevention, diagnosis and primary care; innovations in health care; policy reforms to improve health care; women and health; and community actions for health.
The winner or a representative from the winning team will participate in the Gabo Festival 2025 in Bogotá with all expenses covered. Winners and finalists from each category will be invited to the Roche Award ceremony in October in Miami.
The deadline is June 11.
