On the occasion of World Press Freedom Day, May 3, publications worldwide are being encouraged to show their support for journalists who put themselves in harm's way to report the news.
The World Association of Newspapers (WAN), which represents 18,000 newspapers worldwide, is producing editorials, advertisements, political cartoons, interviews and other materials for publication in newspapers and other media on May 3.
Newspapers wishing to view, download and publish the materials, free of charge, can go to the WAN World Press Freedom Day pages.
