The Asian Development Bank (ADB) is hosting a virtual event, "Harnessing the Benefits of Regional Cooperation and Integration," on March 27, to present key findings of The Asian Economic Integration Report 2025. This report examines how regional integration has driven growth in the Asia Pacific over the past two decades.

Speakers will also discuss ways to navigate the evolving geopolitical landscape through regional cooperation while fostering a greener, more inclusive and sustainable future for the region.

Participants will have the opportunity to understand more about regional integration trends in Asia and the Pacific, the drivers and barriers of regional cooperation and integration, and explore ways to harness regional cooperation and integration benefits for sustainable growth amid geopolitical challenges.

The webinar will feature Kijin Kim, Senior Economist, ADB's Economic Research and Development Impact as the presenter. Panelists include: Alfredo Perdiguero, Regional Head, ADB's Regional Cooperation and Integration, Southeast Asia Department; Akiko Terada-Hagiwara, Principal Country Specialist, People's Republic of China Resident Mission, East Asia Department, ADB; and Pritam Banerjee, Professor and Head, Centre for WTO Studies and Centre for Research in International Trade. The panel discussion will be moderated by Joseph Ernest Zveglich Jr., Deputy Director General, ADB's Economic Research and Development Impact.
