Bluhm/Helfand Social Innovation Fellowship Deadline June 2, 2015

In partnership with Chicago Ideas Week, the Bluhm/Helfand Social Innovation Fellowship will grant visionary leaders with community support, exposure to successful business leaders and a US$10,000 financial contribution for their business endeavor. The winning recipients will be hosted in Chicago during Chicago Ideas Week on Oct. 12 to 18, with all expenses paid. Getty Images Instagram Grant Deadline June 4, 2015

Getty Images and Instagram are accepting entries for the inaugural Getty Images Instagram Grant. The grant seeks to support photographers using Instagram to document stories from underrepresented communities around the world. A total of three grants of US$10,000 each will be awarded. ONA journalism awards Deadline June 5, 2015

The Online News Association (ONA) is accepting entries for the 2015 Online Journalism Awards recognizing excellence in digital reporting. Of the 37 awards, 10 offer a total of US$60,000 in prize money, including US$15,000 for two awards for investigative data journalism. Awards will be given in September at the Online News Association Conference & Awards Banquet in Los Angeles. Click here for more information.

Knight-VICE Innovators Fund Deadline June 8, 2015

The John S. and James L. Knight FoundationVICE News and the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism are launching a US$500,000 fund to support innovation in journalism. Finalists will spend three months in New York, working with VICE News staff and the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism on the development and distribution of their work. Bayeux-Calvados Award for War Correspondents Deadline June 8, 2015

The Bayeux-Calvados Award for War Correspondents, sponsored by the Calvados General Council and the town of Bayeux, France, honors coverage of conflict situations or news events relating to the fight for freedom and democracy. The winner of each category will receive cash prizes ranging from EUR3,000 (US$3,234) to EUR7,000 (US$7,546). Capture Corruption contest Deadline June 12, 2015

Transparency International, the Thomson Reuters Foundation and the International Anti-Corruption Conference are sponsoring Capture Corruption, a photography competition that is looking for imaginative and powerful images that show the corrosive effects of corruption. The top winners will take part in an all-expenses paid photojournalism workshop held by the Thomson Reuters Foundation and travel to the 16th International Anti-Corruption Conference held Sept. 2 to 4 in Malaysia. Click here for more information.
