Farm Radio International hosts the Liz Hughes Award for Her Farm Radio.
The award is given to excellent radio programs that serve women listeners, regardless of their subject matter. The program does not have to be exclusively about gender issues, but the program, whether it is about health, education, or agriculture, must serve women.
Any Farm Radio International partner in sub-Saharan Africa may submit an application for the Liz Hughes Award. Applications can be submitted in English, French, Amharic, Hausa, Swahili, and Portuguese. The winner will receive a certificate and an award of CAD1,000.
The deadline is Oct. 28.
