Training on modern slavery reporting [Southeast Asia]

Journalists from selected Southeast Asian countries can apply for this in-person training in Manila, Philippines.

In partnership with Journalism for Nation Building Foundation (JNBF) and RapplerJournalismfund.eu is co-organizing a five-day training program on modern slavery reportage in Manila from Nov. 21 to 25. It is part of the Journalismfund.eu's Modern Slavery Unveiled Training Program. 

The training will be led by international and local trainers well-versed in modern slavery reportage, and include a series of in-person workshops and discussions that will help journalists cover modern slavery stories in the digital age.

A total of 30 individuals, including journalists and representatives of civil society organizations, will be selected to participate in the program.

The training is free. Travel, food, accommodations and airport transfers will be covered by Journalismfund.eu.
