Journalists who wish to launch their own digital outlets can enroll in this free online course.
The Knight Center for Journalism in the Americas, in partnership with SembraMedia and Ajor, has launched the course "Entrepreneurial Journalism: How to Monetize and Promote Sustainable Digital Media Outlets."
The course has five modules that will address topics such as trends in entrepreneurial journalism, business models, how to get insights on your audiences, how to develop and diversify revenue streams and the best practices for building a project for the long-term.
Classes will run from April 11 to May 13. The course is self-paced, and is available in Portuguese and Spanish.
