IJNet keeps professional and citizen journalists up to date on the latest media innovations, online journalism resources, training opportunities and expert advice. IJNet is produced in seven languages: Arabic, Chinese, English, Persian, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish. Users come from more than 185 countries to improve their journalism skills, find training and further their careers.

Donors and media-training groups use IJNet to publicize their work to an ever-growing community dedicated to improving journalism worldwide and sharing their expertise. IJNet hosts active discussions on Facebook and other social media platforms, and offers training and tips to ensure you continue to be competitive in your craft.

Meet the IJNet Staff

Jennifer Dorroh, IJNet Director- A former managing editor of American Journalism Review, she has lived and worked as a journalist in Mexico and Slovenia and served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Belize. She has a Master's Degree in Journalism from the University of Maryland. Jennifer is committed to bringing the breadth of IJNet’s online journalism resources to new and professional journalists worldwide.

Nicole Martinelli, Managing Editor- A San Francisco native, she has lived and worked in Italy, writing about science and tech as well as design and art for publications including Wired, Newsweek and The Wall Street Journal Europe. She has a master’s degree in communications from L'Universita' degli Studi di Firenze in Florence, Italy and a bachelor's degree in journalism from San Francisco State University. She is based in San Francisco.

Jingyuan Huang, Chinese Editor and Community Manager- He previously worked in public relations and advertising in China and the United States, and for a political consulting firm in Washington, D.C. He is an M.A. candidate at the University of Missouri School of Journalism, and holds a B.A. from China's Renmin University.

Renata Johnson, Portuguese Editor and Community Manager- She worked as program assistant at the Wilson Center's Brazil Institute and as outreach coordinator at the Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies at the University of Illinois. Previously, she was a producer, Webmaster and assistant editor of Global Journalist radio and magazine in Missouri. She has an M.A. in journalism with a minor in international development, and a B.J. in print journalism, both from the University of Missouri.

Maite Fernandez, Spanish Editor and Community Manager- A native of Uruguay, Fernandez worked as a reporter for the national daily newspaper El Observador and for its website, Elobservador.com.uy. She has a M.J. in multimedia journalism from the University of Maryland and a B.A. in journalism from ORT University in Uruguay. She's bilingual in English and Spanish and has a basic knowledge of Portuguese and Italian.

Margaret Looney, IJNet Writer- She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a minor in international relations from Louisiana State University. She covered international students, religion and gender issues for LSU’s Daily Reveille. She interned at the U.S. Embassy in Paris as a Pamela Harriman Fellow and with the Knight International Journalism Fellowships program at the International Center for Journalists.

IJNet 成员

Kevin Jingyuan Huang (黄敬原), IJNet中文版编辑,社区经理 黄敬原负责IJNet中文版的编辑工作,以及IJNet在中国大陆地区的合作推广。他曾在中国和美国多家媒体的工作,2010年9月至2011年1月就职于美国首都华盛顿一家公关公司,负责参与美国参众两院和美国政府的联络和政策研究工作。他目前就读于美国密苏里新闻学院,完成其新闻学硕士学位。他拥有中国人民大学的(文学)学士学位。
