Publicado em Aug 2, 2019 em Specialized Topics

Newsrooms and journalists who live in U.S. coastal states can apply for funding.

The Pulitzer Center, with support from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute’s Department of Science Education, organizes Connected Coastlines, a collaborative reporting initiative on climate science in U.S. coastal states.

This reporting initiative seeks proposals that document the untold or unappreciated ways in which climate change is affecting coastal populations. Possible formats include television, radio, print, multimedia, online, photography and data journalism.

Grants are intended to cover hard costs associated with the reporting.

The deadline is Aug. 15.
