Islamic Relief Worldwide ambassador and Egyptian actress, Hanan Turk, recently visited Yemen and praised the role of Yemeni journalists in educating the public about cancer.

Through reporting, Yemeni journalists played a big role in making the people aware of the importance of the two cancer treatment hospitals recently built in Yemen, and the role government officials played in supporting this hospital and the treatment of the cancer patients, she said.

She told Saba News Agency that she met several officials and "met many people who donated generously in order to fight cancer in Yemen."
