World’s best-designed newspapers chosen

Five newspapers from around the world have been honored by the U.S.-based Society for News Design (SND) as the “World’s Best-Designed Newspapers." These papers, four from Europe and one from Mexico, showed “an impressive attention to layout detail,” SND said.

The papers were judged by whether they contain "all the right elements for good design – symbolism, aesthetics, function, accessibility," according to SND.

The five winning papers were selected from 10,725 entries submitted by 346 newspapers in 43 countries.

The News, Mexico, daily, circulation 10,000
