Workshop will teach young journalists to write multimedia stories

Young journalists can attend a writing and multimedia workshop from April 5 to 10 in Guadalajara, Mexico. Deadline: March 18.

Organized by Fundación Nuevo Periodismo Iberoamericano (FNPI) and the University of Guadalajara, the six-day workshop will cover storytelling and news techniques for in-depth articles, how to report, how to create an online story, and more.

Registration costs US$540, which includes lodging, meals, materials, and health insurance. Applicants must send an 800-word autobiography, a letter by their media employer, and two writing samples.

Spots are limited to 12 journalists no older than 33 years old.

This looks like a great opportunity for young journalists, I couldn't be more happier about this kind of events, we need quality talented people online. Article writing is a job with great future, I think that's what makes young journalists so interested in it and another reason would be the field of possibilities, once you're in article writing industry you don't have to search too long for opportunities.
