Venezuela to host workshop on politics and media
Journalists who are interested in learning more about global politics, international affairs, and Christianity in Venezuela and Latin American can participate in a workshop scheduled for January 21 to 25 in Caracas.
The workshop “Venezuela Beyond Politics and the Media: Future, Achievements and Expectations” is being organized by the International Institute of Journalism and Communication (IIJC), based in Switzerland. Among the objectives is for the participants to analyze the socioeconomic situation in the country and the region, as well as to search for alternatives and make recommendations for long-term benefits.
The workshop is part of the “International Refresher Program” of continued formation for journalists, editors and communication professors, which IIJC has organized since 1991. Program events have been conducted on several continents. Registration costs EUR100 (about US$128).
